Our Train Shows

Twice a year, the Club hosts a train show (March & December). Vendors from all over the area attend, with show discounts and specials that make the visit worth the trip. We also have our own club display, including an N-scale layout kids and adults can enjoy. We often have other scales on display with layouts, as well as demonstrations of various modeling techniques. These are fund raisers for the club, but also a great opportunity for model railroaders to meet, swap stories and pick up a new locomotive, speciality item for a home layout, or other items.

Our next show is in December, 2010 at Manual High School. We will continue to expand with more vendor tables of all scales, operating layouts and useful clinics. Mark your calendars today!

Past Shows

Our March 2009 show was a huge success! We had over 30 vendors with almost 90 tables and 10 operating layouts on display -- N, HO and G -- to inspire and delight the young and young at heart. We had 360 guests this Show.  Our Open House allowed us to proudly show off our projects from 2008, with major changes to East Bend and other expansions to enable Operations Nights. We also have the "skeleton" of our new N scale benchwork and track area set-up. Come grow and expand with us!

My son K. wanted to write you and tell you thanks for a great day at your show and club.  He really got a kick out of Ken, and he wanted to tell him hello, and that we'll come on a Monday evening sometime.  We were  most impressed with the reasonable prices and your club layout!  Wow!
